The weather is Las Vegas is starting to change. It can be nasty cold here but never wet and usually comes in the form of North wind. They get the snow and we get the cold. I am not a cold or wet fan so it is nice when I feel my little world drying out. Hurry to visit because it will soon be hot, hot, hot. I love the heat but some do not.
Speaking of rain and wind ................ We have "verga or virga" which is rain that never reaches the ground. The air is so dry here that it all evaporates. Sometimes you can see it in the sky at about 8,000 feet or even closer but you will not feel the rain drops. They say that verga is good at creating micro bursts and I think that is the wind we feel.
